We are Real Simple Limited, a New Zealand company. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you visit our websites:
1. What information do we collect?
From all visitors
- IP address, browser type, device information, and browsing behaviour (via Google Analytics 4 – GA4 and the Meta Pixel).
- We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising (these are not strictly necessary cookies).
From logged-in support portal users (existing clients only)
- Name, email address, company name (if provided), support tickets, messages, and any files you upload.
- Login activity and IP address.
From live chat (tawk.to)
- Name and email (if you provide them), chat transcript, IP address, and approximate location.
2. How do we use your information?
- To provide and improve our services and client support.
- To understand how our website is used (analytics).
- To measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to show you relevant ads on Facebook, Instagram and other Meta platforms (using the Meta Pixel).
- To respond to your live-chat or support requests.
- To meet legal and tax requirements.
3. Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our site. GA4 sets cookies and collects your IP address (anonymised) and browsing data. You can opt out of Google Analytics at any time here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
We also use the Meta Pixel (provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.). This sets cookies and collects information about your visits and actions on our site so we can measure advertising performance and show you relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram.

Our live-chat widget (tawk.to) may also set cookies.
4. Who do we share your information with?
- Google LLC (United States) – for analytics.
- Meta Platforms, Inc. (United States and Ireland) – for advertising and the Meta Pixel.
- tawk.to Inc (United States) – for live chat.
- SupportCandy (our support portal plugin) – data stays on our New Zealand/Europe-based hosting servers (Hostinger via Cloudflare).
- Our staff and contractors (under confidentiality).
- Authorities if required by law.
All third-party providers are bound by contracts or adequate privacy laws.
5. How long do we keep your information?
We keep client and support data for as long as you remain a client and then for the period required by New Zealand tax and company law (usually 7 years).
Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics for up to 14 months. Meta Pixel data is retained according to Meta’s own policies.
6. Security
We use industry-standard security (HTTPS, encryption, access controls) to protect your information. No method is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your data safe.
7. Your rights under the Privacy Act 2020
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct it.
- In some cases, ask us to delete it.

8. Children
Our services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
